Leopards Finish 14th in Lafayette Invitational

The Lafayette golf team finished 14th place in the 2014 Lafayette Invitational led in the final round by junior Mike Zausmer who carded a four-over 75 on the 6,655-yard, par-71 Championship Course at Silver Creek Country Club in Hellertown, Pa.
Longwood captured the overall team title with a team score of 595. Central Connecticut finished second at 598 while Hofstra took third at 601 and Bucknell ended up fourth at 609. Drexel and LaSalle tied for fifth at 610.
Individually, Zausmer and teammates Robert Dyer and Phil Rosengarden tied for 31st at 155 to lead the Leopards. Drexel's Christopher Crawford shot a 73-71--144 to win the individual title by one stroke over Longwood's Clayton Forren (74-71--145).
The Leopards next compete in the FDU Invitational at Crystal Springs Resort April 13-14.
