The Lafayette golf team remained in 15th place after the second round of the Florida Atlantic University Spring Break Championship, led by sophomore Travis Ricca who carded a seven-over 78 on the 6,876-yard, par-71 North Course at The Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth, Fla.

Final round action begins Sunday at 8 a.m.

Sixth-ranked Central Florida took the lead from Georgia Southern with an 11-under team total of 273. UCF has a two-round total of 558, five strokes ahead of Georgia Southern. Lafayette's team score is 644.

Individually, Zausmer sits in a tie for 69th place, 27 shots back of day-two leader Ricardoi Gouveia who sits at 10-under 132.

Junior Mike Zausmer is tied for 72nd after shooting 80 for the second straight day while freshman Garrett Sweeney is 74th after carding a 10-over 81, freshman Jared Mactas is in 78th place after shooting a 78 and junior Doug Fernandez is tied for 80th after firing an 87.  Leopard junior Bob Dyer is competing as an individual at this event and is tied for 65th after carding a four-over 75 in the second round.
