Welcome back everyone from the mid-season blogging break. Academics have been at an all-time high demand for attention, and thankfully everyone has been very patient and understanding about my short absence.

I'm sure you all know our progress to this point, but I'll give a quick recap of everything I've missed in my blogs.

We capped off our Ivy league competitions with a close win over a tough Columbia squad and a huge win over Harvard. I was very satisfied with both wins, but realized as preached by the coaching staff that preseason was over and everything we have accomplished to this point, although good, would serve as meaningless matches if we don't continue to focus and approach these next few games as vital and every one of them to be considered a championship game.

Last week's win over Fordham although vital in its result was not enough for us. The team was not really satisfied with its overall performance and celebration of the win was very limited. This squad seems to be different than ones in the past as our focus is our continued strength.

This Bucknell squad is a dangerous one to say the least. They obtain a very threatening and explosive offense with a defense aggressive enough to back them up. After their loss to Lehigh, expect a strong, aggressive and desperate team coming into the Leopards' house this weekend.

I'm very interested to see how our squad will come out of this week's practice and preparations against a very threatening team in another championship game. As always we are taking this one game at a time preparing each week like it's our last. It is time to take the next step. See you there Leopard fans!
