EASTON, Pa. -
The Lafayette and Lehigh Athletic departments jointly announced on Wednesday that all seats for the football game on November 17 have been sold out, and no more tickets are available for the 143rd meeting of college football's most-played rivalry.
Lafayette's allotment of tickets were exhausted during student ticket sales, with the remainder of the 3,100 tickets Lafayette received having been sold to Leopard alumni and fans.
Fans without tickets for the game can follow the action on radio via both WGPA-AM 1100 and WSAN-AM 1470 or on television via the Lafayette Sports Network. The telecast will be available live locally on RCN-4 and WBPH-60. The Lafayette Sports Network telecast will also air nationally on tape-delay at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18 on CSTV (RCN Channel 164, DIRECTV Channel 610, DISH Network Channel 152). Lafayette Sports Network All-Access will broadcast the game live worldwide on www.GoLeopards.com.
Lafayette and Lehigh have met 142 times on the gridiron, with the Leopards holding a 75-62-5 advantage in the series. Yale will play Princeton for the 129th time and Harvard for the 122nd time this year in the second- and third-most played series in college football history.
Two years ago, the Leopards left Bethlehem with a dramatic 23-19 victory to claim their second of three consecutive Patriot League championships.
Tickets for the 144th meeting between Lafayette and Lehigh at Lafayette's state-of-the-art Fisher Stadium will go on sale Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the annual Maroon vs. White Spring Game.
