Day nine of training camp brought hotter temperatures and one afternoon practice for the Leopards on the Fisher Stadium gridiron. Frank Tavani's troops opened the morning with weight training and positional meetings that account for most of the players' time during the day that isn't slotted for eating, sleeping or practicing. Thursday's training camp coverage gives Lafayette fans time to make their travel plans for the 2011 football slate that includes a trip farther west than the Maroon and White have ever ventured. GoLeopards.com thanks everyone who sent in their questions and today is the final day for fans to submit questions through the Lafayette Leopards Facebook and Twitter accounts for head coach Frank Tavani to answer. Go Leopards!

Good news and bad news on day five of this 2010 Preseason Central camp. The good news is the summer temperatures are nowhere to be found. The bad news is that a light drizzle in the first part of practice turned into heavy downpour for the remaining two hours of Sunday's 1-4 p.m. practice. The Leopards are still under the order of the NCAA, which mandates the first five days of practice must be helmets only and only one practice per day. The Maroon and White will see their first two-a-day be in full pads on Tuesday. LSN All-Access braved the weather to take you inside camp as Matt Panto fills you in on Coach Tavani's thoughts from day five.
