Lafayette Introduces New Ticketing System and 2010 Parking Options

EASTON, Pa. - Leopard football fans making the trek to Lafayette's five home games this year will notice a number of customer service changes to add to the game-day experience in 2010.

Tickets to all Lafayette sporting events can now be printed at home digitally through GoLeopards.com, while Fisher Stadium will utilize scanners to improve customer service by shortening and quickening lines on game day.

In addition, season parking passes for the Markle Parking Deck, located above Fisher Stadium, are now available for $60 and can be purchased through the Athletic Ticket Office (610-330-5471, tickets@lafayette.edu or GoLeopards.com). The Markle Parking Deck will open at 8 a.m. for afternoon games and noon for 6 p.m. games.

The new ticketing software allows Lafayette to gather data and analyze which gates are used the most and make adjustments where needed to ensure the ultimate fan experience.

Season tickets and mini plans are also available and going fast and are the only way to guarantee a seat for the Lafayette-Lehigh game. Purchases for single-game tickets will be available on September 1. Remaining tickets for the 146th meeting of College Football's Most-Played Rivalry will go on sale Sept. 12, if tickets are still available.

Leopard fans can call 610-330-5471 or email tickets@lafayette.edu for season ticket packages and season parking passes or visit GoLeopards.com and purchase tickets easily through the recently-launched new online ticket store, allowing Leopard faithful to choose seat locations and print tickets.

Lafayette has led the Patriot League in attendance the last two seasons and continues to host the best game-day atmosphere inside picturesque Fisher Stadium.

Fisher Stadium Parking Guidelines
• Any automobile that occupies one standard parking space may park at the Markle Parking Deck.
• Parking pass is to be displayed at all times in the front window.
• One space per vehicle; No space" holding"
• Parking Attendants will direct vehicles to the next available spot.
• No table set ups in a designated parking space.
• Be courteous to others around you
• Occupy the spot behind your car
• Do not block the fire lane
• Arrive early with your friends and enjoy the day together
• RV's or Fan Buses must arrange parking in advance with the Lafayette Office of Public Safety.
• Pennsylvania State Law (Act 31) prohibits the consumption or furnishing of alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 years of age.

 

 

If you do not have a parking pass for the Markle Parking Deck, parking on campus or on the neighboring streets is first-come first serve. Lafayette College, the City of Easton and our College Hill neighbors share a very important relationship. Please be mindful of the neighborhood surrounding Fisher Stadium. Please respect the private property and the homes of our neighbors. All City of Easton parking regulations are in effect.

Markle Parking Deck parking lot will open at 8 a.m. for 1 p.m. games, and at noon for 6 p.m. games and will open for regular use after the conclusion of the game.

Failure to comply with Lafayette and City of Easton regulations may result in removal from the Markle Parking Deck or any location at the owner's expense. Please exercise tailgating privileges in a responsible manner. Failure to do so may cause forfeiture of Markle parking pass for the remainder of the season. No refunds will be issued.

For a Great Game Day Experience!
• Alcohol is not permitted outside of the established parking lot area. All beverages consumed during the tailgate event must be consumed from cups; no glass containers, cans, funnels or similar devices will be allowed. All drinking games and kegs are strictly prohibited.

• All Markle Parking Deck tailgating activities are to end at the start of the game. Fans are encouraged to enter Fisher Stadium early.

• Please be sure to clean up your Markle Parking Deck tailgate area, and respect the student-athletes, coaches, administrators, event staff and fans around you.

• Animals are not permitted at Fisher Stadium.

• Lafayette College is not liable for loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents and reserves the right to revoke a parking pass without refund at any time for noncompliance with policy.
