2018 Lafayette Football Preseason Central
EASTON, Pa. -- Lafayette football opened training camp on Friday morning at Fisher Stadium. The Leopards will have a month to prepare for their season opener at Sacred Heart on Sept. 1.
Members of the team, most of whom trained on campus during the summer, officially arrived back on College Hill on Thursday evening. Individual photos and a knee brace fitting for the offensive linemen preceded a full-team meeting at 7 p.m. That was followed by special teams and offensive and defensive meetings in Bourger Varsity Football House.
The Leopards will typically practice from 10 a.m. to noon each day with Sundays off for rest and recovery. Lafayette football media day is set for Aug. 14.
