Fistner Named Patriot League Football

EASTON, PA - -Lafayette College senior outside linebacker was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week today for his performance in the Leopards' 27-7 domination of Fordham this past Saturday.
One of the team captains, Fistner led a Leopard defense that limited Fordham to just 30 rushing yards, recording eight tackles (seven solo), three sacks for 26 yards in losses, five pass break-ups, and downing a punt at the Fordham two-yard line.
On the season, Fistner leads Lafayette with 39 solo tackles, 15 tackles for 55 yards in losses, and two forced fumbles. He is also tied for the team lead with five sacks, while also recording two interceptions, seven pass break-ups, and one fumble recovery.
Lafayette, now 4-5 overall, plays its final non-conference game this Saturday when Duquesne University of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference visits Fisher Field for a 12:30 p.m. kickoff.
