Patriot League Recognizes 28 on Football Academic Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. - Twenty-eight members of the Lafayette football team have earned their places on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports. Lafayette senior Brandon Ellis, a senior Economics and Business major and freshman Anthony Baker, a freshman English major, were two of just three Patriot League student-athletes to register a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester. Previously, Ellis was named a a Capital One Academic All-District selection and secured a place on the FCS Athletic Directors Association Academic All-Star Team in addition to the Academic All-Patriot League Team in the fall. Fordham had 39 honorees, followed by Georgetown with 32. Lafayette, Holy Cross and Bucknell had 28 honorees apiece while Lehigh managed just 24 and Colgate had 12. Justin Adams Fr.
