EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette junior linebacker Andy Romans (Allendale, N.J./St. Joseph Regional) has been named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Football Championship Subdivision All-Star Team.

Romans, who was also named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, racked up 113 tackles, three sacks, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in the 2007 season. He helped anchor the top-ranked defensive in the nation, which allowed only 260 yards offensive yards and 17 points per game.

The ECAC will honor all-star members on Feb. 19 at a banquet at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, N.J.
