Chuma Added to FCS ADA All-Star Team
EASTON, Pa. – Junior defensive end Andrew Chuma has been selected to the 2017 Football Championship Subdivision Athletic Directors Association (FCS ADA) Academic All-Star Team, announced on Friday.
Chuma was part of a Lafayette defense that surrendered 15.8 points and 196 yards per game during Patriot League play when Lafayette managed a 3-3 record and finished third in the conference standings. He played in all 11 games and started the final five contests.
The Ridgefield, Conn. native made 22 tackles with one tackle for loss. He was named an Academic All-Patriot League selection in November and maintains a 3.94 GPA. The Economics major achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester.
Nominees were required to have a minimum GPA of 3.20 and have been a starter or key player with legitimate athletic credentials.
