Ellis Selected to FCS ADA All-Star Team

Brandon Ellis was selected to the FCS Athletic Directors Association All-Star Team.

EASTON, Pa. - Senior Brandon Ellis (Jeffersonville, Pa./Norristown) has earned a spot on the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Athletic Directors Association All-Star Team, one of four Patriot League student-athletes to be honored.

Nominees were required to have a minimum grade-point average of 3.2 and be a starter or key reserve. Ellis is an Economics & Business major who maintains a 3.56 GPA, including a 4.0 GPA in the past two semesters.

In November, he was named to the Capital One Academic All-District II Team and the Academic All-Patriot League Team for the second time in his career. Ellis works as a peer mentor in the College's Academic Tutoring and Training Information Center and has served as Gateway Ambassador for Career Services.

On the field, Ellis garnered First-Team All-Patriot League laurels and led Lafayette with 11 pass breakups from his cornerback position. In 2011, he was fourth on the team with 70 tackles and started every game in his final three seasons.
