Tim Brady begins his third season on the Lafayette staff, coaching the wide receivers.
In 2014, Brady coached a receiving corps that was hampered by injuries, but that did not slow the emergence of the team’s offensive rookie of the year, Matt Mrazek. He made 26 catches for 360 yards and a pair of touchdowns as he started six of the last seven games.
In his first season, the Leopards set a school record for completions and passing yards while Mark Ross ‘14 finished off his career by becoming Lafayette’s all-time leading receiver.
Brady joined the Leopards following a two-year coaching stint at his alma mater Springfield College, where he coached quarterbacks and wide receivers. In 2011, Springfield won the NCAA rushing title, averaging 400.6 yards per game. In 2012, Brady helped Springfield win the ECAC Northeast Bowl Championship.
At Springfield, he was responsible for composing practice plans, film exchange, assisting in the offensive game plan and recruiting in Connecticut and Florida. In 2012, Brady served concurrently as Yale University’s strength and conditioning intern.
Brady was a three-year starter at wide receiver for Springfield, and graduated in 2011. He was named to the Empire 8 All-Academic team three times and garnered the Norman C. Keith Scholar Athlete Award in 2010.
A native of Southbury, Conn., Brady earned his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Springfield in 2011, and completed his master’s degree in Exercise Science in 2015.
