2013: Missed entire season due to a foot injury.
2012: Started 10 games at free safety while earning his first varsity letter...led the team in solo tackles (40) and was second on the team in total tackles (73)...tied for the team lead in interceptions (4) on a squad that was second in the nation in picks...defended nine passes on the season...made 11 tackles at Yale (10/13)...recorded a career-high 16 tackles at Colgate (11/3)...managed 10 tackles against Lehigh (11/17).
2011: Started in two games and saw action in six contests while earning his first varsity letter...recorded 12 tackles on the season, with two pass break-ups...earned first varsity start at Penn (9/17)...posted a five-tackle performance in a start vs. Colgate (11/5)...missed the final two games of the season after sustaining a fractured ankle that required surgery.
AT MERCERSBURG ACADEMY: Played running back, wide receiver, strong safety and returner in his post-grad year...named All-Mid-Atlantic Prep League First Team while serving as a team captain...had 81 carries for 438 yards and three rushing TD's...made 30 catches for 354 yards and four touchdowns...defensively, registered 72 tackles (eight for loss) with four sacks, two interceptions (one for TD)...forcing three fumbles while recovering two...returned two punts and one kickoff for touchdowns.
AT MOUNTAIN VIEW: Two-way starter his final three seasons, competing at linebacker, corner, safety, wide receiver and running back...earned All-Commonwealth District honors in sophomore, junior and senior years while collecting all-region laurels as a junior and senior...carried 123 times for 931 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior...made 44 catches for 525 yards and five touchdowns...returned 18 kicks for 473 yards and eight punts for 74 yards...also completed two passes for 108 yards and one touchdown...two-year starter on wrestling team who was fourth in AAA level in Virginia as a sophomore, first in Commonwealth District and Northwest region as a sophomore...member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
PERSONAL: Son of Edward and Stephanie Black...has older brothers, Brady and Conor (who wrestles at VMI), and sister, Erinn...father was a collegiate wrestler at Kentucky...came from same prep school as Darius Glover '14 and Ben Eaton '12...born 11/13/91.
