AT JOHN JAY: Honor Roll student who played defensive and offensive line...rang up 13 sacks in his senior season on his way to all-state and all-section honors...team captain who was selected to National Football Foundation (NFF) All-Metro team as a senior...named the Outstanding Lineman in the Section I Class A Championship and the Section I Class A Most Valuable lineman...earned 2010-11 Scholar-Athlete Award at John Jay while garnering honorable mention status from the 2011 NFF Scholar-Athlete Team...worked as a camp counselor in the summer.

PERSONAL:Son of Christopher Sanders and Kathleen Garrett...has a younger sister, Erin...born 3/3/94.
