Chris  Partridge

Chris Partridge '03 enters his first season on the Lafayette coaching staff as a defensive assistant, focusing primarily on the secondary.

Partridge was a key contributor at linebacker for three years for the Leopards. He was co-captain and recorded a team-leading 106 tackles in his final season in 2002, including 10 for a loss of yardage and four sacks. He made 25 tackles in the first three games as a junior in 2000 before tearing his ACL, and qualified for a fifth-year medical redshirt. Partridge accounted for 178 tackles in his career at Lafayette.

An All-County and Parochial All-State player on the 1998 state championship team at Paramus Catholic (N.J.), Partridge returned to his alma mater for two years after graduating from Lafayette with a B.A. in Government and Law. He was the head junior varsity coach and worked with the varsity linebackers and offensive line in his first year. Last season, Partridge was promoted to defensive coordinator, and also coached the wide receivers for the Paladins.

Partridge was a member of the faculty in the physical education department at Paramus Catholic, and also served as the Assistant Director of Operations and Assistant Director of Security, Facilities, Special Events and Alumni Relations under the Director of Athletics.

Partridge has credit hours towards earning his Masters in Education, Leadership Policy and Management at Seton Hall University.
