AT IONA PREP: Earned two letters in both football and basketball...team captain who threw for 2,300 yards and 20 touchdowns his senior year, both of which are single-season school records...All-Catholic High School Football League of Metropolitan New York selection...named third-team all-state by the CHSFL league...received the Golden Dozen Scholar-Athlete Award from the National Football Foundation...captain of the basketball team his senior year, where he played guard...four-year honor roll student...member of the Spanish and Latin National Honors Societies.
