Football Relives 2013 Season at Annual Banquet

Mark Ross named team MVP

Elected co-captain by his teammates, along with linebacker Maurice Bennett, for the 2005 season. 2004: Started the first two games of the season and made 11 appearances... caught a pass in seven contests from the fullback position...broke off a 16-yard run and caught an 18-yard touchdown pass vs. Holy Cross... made three catches for 32 yards at Georgetown.

2003: Appeared in nine games to earn second varsity letter ...carried the ball 13 times for 28 yards and caught three passes for 19 yards...also part of Leopards' special teams units.

2002: Secured first varsity letter after playing in six games as a reserve fullback...tallied three yards on two carries... also played on Leopards' special teams.

AT XAVERIAN BROTHERS HIGH SCHOOL: A three-sport student-athlete who competed in football, track and baseball...in his senior year, he accumulated 101 tackles, three sacks, and one interception and recorded 175 carries for 1389 yards and 16 touchdowns while playing fullback and linebacker...earned Catholic Conference All-Star in 2000...was the solo captain his senior year, receiving the MVP award and earning a place as Catholic Conference All-Star...also received Boston Herald All-Scholastic, Boston Globe All-Scholastic, and a spot on the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston All-State team...noted as a Who's Who in Sports All-Star for 2000 and 2001...also recognized in 2001 as High USA Power Lifting Champion for the 220-pound weight class...was a Catholic Conference All-Star in the javelin, throwing 174 feet.
