Evan Nardone begins his first season on the Lafayette coaching staff, returning to the program that he helped lead to 28 victories and a Patriot League championship as a linebacker. Narodne will serve as a defensive assistant while also handling football operations.

Nardone was a member of the Leopards' 2006 Patriot League Championship team and the 2007 team which ranked first in the nation in defense. Nardone also won the 2008 Most Improved Player Award and the 2009 Unsung Hero Award as a contributor on defense and special teams.

He spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach and video operations coordinator at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Ga. He was responsible for coaching linebackers, conducting positional meetings and on-field drills and monitoring academic progress of student-athletes while assisting in recruiting efforts.

Nardone graduated from Lafayette in 2010 with degrees in Economics and Business and Government and Law. Nardone earned his Master of Arts in Teaching from LaGrange College.
