2004: Made 12 tackles in eight games...picked up his second varsity letter...valuable member of the secondary and on special teams.

2003: Played in five games, starting the final three at strong safety to earn first varsity letter... was in on 15 tackles, including career-high five in first career start vs. Bucknell.

2002: Performed well for the Leopards' junior varsity program.

AT HAMMOND HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year member of the football and basketball teams and three-year competitor in track and field, he earned letters in all three sports...performed as running back, quarterback, center, safety, kick returner, and punt returner...named to All-County for three years and All-Extra first team...also named All-County for three years and All-Metro as a guard on the basketball team.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Government and Law...son of Arthur Grant Murphy and Gina Lavern Ben...twin brother of teammate Tye Murphy... born 2/28/84.
