AT WESTERN TECH HIGH SCHOOL: A four-sport participant, he was a member of the football, wrestling, track and field, and basketball teams, earning three letters in football...competed at linebacker and fullback...earned a place on the All-County first team and All-District first team...during his senior year, garnered 106 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, and 11 tackles for loss, averaging 4.85 yards per carry and 9.8 yards per catch...awarded Most Improved Player and MVP honors...also recorded 11 points per game as a small forward in basketball.
