2017: Made an immediate impact as the team's punter, setting a Lafayette single-season record for punting average (42.7 yard per attempt)...earned All-Patriot League Second-Team honors...also served as the team's holder...punted 67 times with 16 efforts of 50-plus yards while landing 18 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line...less than half of those punts (28) were returned and only three resulted in touchbacks...boomed a career-long punt of 64 yards against No. 7 Villanova (9/16) while also managing 60-yard punts against Princeton (9/23) and Bucknell (10/21)...named Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week (11/6) after playing a crucial role in Lafayette's 7-0 win over Georgetown (11/4)...averaged 44.7 yards per punt against the Hoyas and placed three punts inside the Georgetown 10-yard line.
AT RIDGE POINT: Played for the 6A Region champions 2014 and 2015 as a punter and safety...spent the 2016 school year training with his uncle, Matt Turk, an NFL punter for 19 seasons.
Personal: Son of Anthony and Kelly Turk...uncle, Daniel Turk, was a center in the NFL for 15 seasons...has an older sister, Jessica...his older brother, Ben, was a punter at Notre Dame '13 and his older brother, Joe, is a fullback and long snapper at Western Illinois...born 3/14/98.
