Tavani, Leopards Sign 30 For Class of 2016

Players from nine states, 16 offensive, 13 defensive and one special teamer are set to join program

Comes from same high school as Mark Plumby '08 who is currently coaching at Linsly.

AT LINSLY: Honor student with a 4.0 GPA...played linebacker, running back, tight end and fullback...selected All-Ohio Valley Athletic Conference First Team in three seasons while earning First Team All-Valley status twice and Second-Team status once...holds school record for career tackles with 391...registered 12.5 sacks and five interceptions in his career...managed 25 touchdowns and 1,247 yards on the ground to go along with 60 catches for 1,079 yards and 11 receiving touchdowns in his career...three-year team captain and four year varsity letterwinner...named team's defensive MVP in sophomore, junior and senior seasons...letterwinner in baseball where he played pitcher and third base and in track and field where he competed in the hurdles, 4x100m relay and the shotput...selected to be a Senior Prefect...earned Tim Ashe award for outstanding academic and athletic achievement...member of the German Club.

PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Rebecca Dodd...has a younger brother, Eric...born 12/2/92.
