1999: Earned his second varsity letter after seeing action in all 11 contests and starting the Leopards? season opener at Towson at outside linebacker...was moved back to defensive backfield for most of the season, serving as a back-up to All-Patriot League free safety Angel Colon.
1998: One of seven Leopard freshmen to earn a varsity letter...a fractured foot early in the season sidelined him until the Towson game...earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors for his efforts in the Leopards? win at Fordham, making two tackles, breaking up one pass, recovering a fumble, and returning the game?s opening kickoff 30 yards...recorded a career-high four tackles at both Towson and Colgate. 1997: Enrolled at Lafayette in the Spring ?98 semester, coming from the U.S. Air Force Academy Prep School...competed in spring practices and impressed the coaching staff.
AT SHAKER HIGH SCHOOL: A three-sport letterwinner, playing tailback, wide receiver, free safety, and cornerback on the football team, forward for the basketball program, and competing in the sprints and high jump for the track squad...captained each team as both a junior and a senior...earned Section II All-Star honors as a free safety on the gridiron...set the school record in the high jump and was the state runner-up with a leap of 6'8".
