2002: Named to the Verizon District II Academic All-America team for third season...recorded four tackles and two passes defended against Monmouth...had four tackles and four passes defended vs. Towson...forced a fumble and tallied three and a half tackles in Penn game...made a season-high 11 tackles and picked off a pass at Duquesne...returned an interception 24 yards and made four tackles at Bucknell.

2001: Earned the honors of Verizon District II Academic All-America, Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and his third varsity letter...played in all 10 games and started at right cornerback in seven...tied for second on the Leopards in interceptions and ranked fifth in both kick returns and tackles, tallying 50, with two for loss of six yards...snagged one interception, had seven pass deflections and recovered two fumbles...also accumulated 94 all purpose yards, with 71 yards in four kick returns and a 23-yard interception return.

An All-Patriot League performer in track and field, he helped lead Lafayette's 4x400-meter relay squad to a second-place finish at the 2001 Patriot League Outdoor Championships.

2000: A Verizon District II Academic All-American, he is also is a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...earned his second varsity letter after seeing action in all 11 contests, starting eight at right cornerback...finished fourth on the squad in total tackles with 57...was eighth in the Patriot League in pass breakups with 11...tallied a career-high ten tackles at both Bucknell and Fordham...had a career-high four pass deflections vs. Harvard.

1999: Earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...a walk-on who truly impressed the coaching staff...saw most of his action on special teams and as a back-up in the defensive secondary...earned his first varsity letter.

AT TROY HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year member of the football team as well as a four-year basketball player, earning second-team All-Big Ten Conference honors as well as a spot on the scholar-athlete team...in his 1998 season, he ran for 366 yards, averaging 6.0 yards per carry and scoring seven touchdowns...also recorded 43 tackles.

PERSONAL: Chemistry major...son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kennedy Jr....born 10/4/81.
