2017: Played in 11 games with four starts as a rookie...longest pass catch of the season came again No. 7 Villanova (9/16), a 25-yard grab...made first career start vs. Holy Cross (9/30), a game the Leopards' won on a field goal at the final horn, and followed with a start vs. Fordham (10/7)...had a season-high three catches for 20 yards at Harvard (10/14)...started the final two games of the season for an injured Dylan Wadsworth.

AT HAVERLING: All-State Second-Team selection at tight end...earned All-Livingston County honors in three seasons, helping lead his squad to county Division I championships in 2014 and 2015...part of a 2015 team which was the Far West regional champion before advancing to the New York State Class C Final Four...made 46 tackles in his senior season at middle linebacker and reeled in 11 catches for 219 yards and two touchdowns at tight 2015, made 71 tackles with two forced fumbles while also catching 18 balls for 251 yards and five touchdowns...played defensive end/tight end in his freshman and sophomore campaigns...three-sport athlete who was an all-star center in basketball and also played lacrosse...high honor roll student and National Honor Society member...service volunteer who helped feed community's less fortunate.

Personal: Son of John and Alicia Taggart...has an older sister, Samantha, who was a swimmer at SUNY Fredonia, and younger sisters, MacKenna and Cadin...born 2/28/99.
