Leopards Hold Off Penn, 28-21

Zach Zweizig passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another and Lafayette used a big first quarter and a school-record tying seven interceptions to hold off Pennsylvania 28-21 Saturday night in the Quakers' season opener.

2013: Appeared in nine games, drawing one start...recorded 17 tackles on the season...registered a season-high four stops at Princeton (10/12)...made three tackles in three different contests: Bucknell (10/5), at Georgetown (11/2), and Fordham (11/16).

2012: Started four games...made 18 tackles...caught an interception and had five tackles against Penn (9/15)...racked up seven tackles and a sack at Robert Morris (9/29)...missed the final seven games. 2011: Played in all 11 games while securing his first varsity letter...recorded nine tackles on the season with multiple tackles against Bucknell (10/29) and Colgate (11/5)...forced a fumble against Fordham (10/22).

2010: Played in two games, recording one tackle.

AT HILLGROVE: Honor roll student who had 87 tackles his senior year...participated in the Cobb County Senior Bowl...named Cobb County Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions...member of The Future Business Leaders of America and the Entrepreneurship Club...also lettered in track and field.

PERSONAL: Son of Carla Wooter...born 1/15/92.
