2001: Passed the ball for another record-riddled season, meriting a coaches' award for offensive back Most Valuable Player...the starting quarterback for the entire season, he led the Patriot League in passing and the team in total offense, with 2,460 yards passing and a long of 51 yards, 56 rushing attempts at 181 yards, a completion percentage of 56.6 percent, and nine touchdowns...surpassed the 200-yard mark in all but one game, breaking 300 twice, with a career-high of 329 yards at Holy Cross...named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Columbia game...became just the fourth Lafayette quarterback to throw for a 2000-plus yard season...ranked second in passing among sophomores in NCAA Division I-AA and 15th among leaders in total offense...his 4,424 career passing yards ranks 16th all-time in Patriot League history...set a Lafayette single-game record with 55 pass attempts at Lehigh.
2000: Burst on the scene, earning Patriot League, Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and USATODAY.com Mid-Atlantic Rookie of the Year honors...led the Patriot League in passing yards, throwing for 1,964 yards...passed for 200 yards or more in six different contest including a career high 269 yards at Columbia...honored as Patriot League Rookie of the Week for his clutch performance vs. Princeton, completing 18-of-30 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning toss to Phil Yarberough with just two seconds remaining...completed a season-best 26 passes vs. Columbia, and threw for a season-high 269 yards vs. Harvard...became the first Lafayette quarterback to throw for more than 1,000 yards and complete more than 50 percent of his passes since Shawn McHale '97 accomplished the feat in the 1996 season.
AT ST. MARY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL: Won league championships in three sports - football, basketball, and badminton...the top male athlete in the Greater Toronto Area as selected by The Toronto Sun, he threw for 1,947 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior...helped lead the squad to a 9-1 record, completing 121-of-196 passes...selected to The Toronto Sun All-Star football team, and earned All-City, All-League, and team MVP honors...captained the football team each year he played...averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game as a power forward and center on the basketball team which went 24-6 his senior season...took up badminton to work on his lateral movement and wound up winning the league title.
