Lafayette Tops Georgetown, 45-27

Drew Reed connected with four different receivers for touchdowns as Lafayette defeated Georgetown 45-27 on Saturday. Matt Smalley added a school-record 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

2013: Appeared in all 12 games, making two starts...was second on the team with 35 catches and third with 405 receiving yards to go along with three touchdowns...had a season-high seven grabs for 29 yards against William & Mary (9/14)...had three catches for 70 yards and a score at Georgetown (11/2)...made six receptions for a career-best 107 yards and a touchdown at Lehigh (11/23)...named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 3.6 GPA.

2012: Saw action in three games...named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List with a 3.6 GPA.

2011: Did not see any game action...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 3.23 semester GPA.

AT PENN MANOR: Distinguished Honor Roll student...selected to the Lancaster-Lebanon League all-star team as a junior and senior, playing wide receiver, defensive back and returner...averaged 21 yards per catch as a senior...made 90 catches for 1,150 yards and 13 touchdowns his final two seasons...two-year letterwinner in basketball at forward...school recordholder in the 100m and 200m in track and field where he was a district qualifier in the triple jump, 100m and 200m...recipient of the Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete and Academic Excellence awards...caught at 62-yard touchdown pass from now-Leopard teammate Zach Zweizig in the Tri-County All Star Game.

PERSONAL: Son of Demetrius and Stacie Dixon...has two brothers, Dayonte and DaShawn...born 3/17/93.
