David  Girardi

David Girardi begins his first season as the quarterbacks coach on John Garrett's offensive staff. Girardi spent the last three seasons on the Northwestern University football staff, working both as a graduate assistant on the defensive side of the ball and as an offensive quality control assistant. While there, he earned his Master's Degree in Sports Administration.

Prior to his time with the Big 10 program, Girardi worked two seasons as a graduate assistant at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pa. where he earned his MBA in 2013.

Girardi, a native of St. Petersburg, Fla., spent his undergraduate career as the quarterback at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa. from 2008-10. He earned three All-Presidents' Athletic Conference honors as a quarterback to go along with a pair of National Christian College Athletic Association All-America nods. Girardi threw for more than 6,000 yards and 37 touchdowns and holds the single season and career records for completion percentage at Geneva. Girardi also punted for the Torandoes, earning All-PAC and All-NCCAA recognition at that position in 2010.
