2013: Appeared in all 12 games...made 17 tackles on the season...had a season-high three tackles at Georgetown (11/2).
2012: Started eight of 11 games he played in, earning his first varsity letter...third on the team with 71 tackles, including three sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble...had an interception against Penn (9/15) and at Robert Morris (9/29)...made 10 tackles with 1.5 sacks against Princeton (10/6)...recorded 12 tackles against Georgetown (10/27)...managed nine stops at Colgate (11/3) and against Lehigh (11/17).
2011: Played in three games while recording three tackles...earned the team's Defensive Scout Team Award.
AT CUMBERLAND VALLEY: National Honor Society member and honor roll student who played inside linebacker, tight end and fullback...earned All-Mid-Penn Conference honors at linebacker and tight end in 2010...named first-team at linebacker by the Carlisle Sentinel in 2009 and 2010...tabbed second-team at linebacker by Harrisburg Patriot News in 2009...served as team captain as a senior, averaging 11.2 tackles per game (153 total) while managing 15.4 yards per catch...guided his team to consecutive District III titles in 2009 and 2010...also played three seasons of varsity basketball, holding down the center spot...member of the National Foreign Language Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Son of Steve and Rebecca Kirkpatrick...hails from same high school as former Lafayette standout Brandon Stanford '06....has an older brother, Steven, who played power forward on the Penn State men's basketball team, a younger brother, Tanner, and a younger sister, Addison...born 4/2/93.
