2001: Playing in over half the season's games, he threw down nine tackles, making him the third leading freshman on the defensive line...earned his first varsity letter.

AT PERTH AMBOY HIGH SCHOOL: A dual sport standout, he was a four-year letterwinner for both the football and track and field teams...multi-dimensional, playing linebacker, tight end, running back and defensive end...named the team?s Defensive Skill Player and Defensive Lineman of the year while earning All-Red Division for his performance at tight end...with the track and field team, he recorded personal bests of 46 feet in the shot put, 130 feet in the javelin, and 125 feet in the discus.
