AT EASTERN HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year member of the football team, earning the Garden State Youth Football League High School Player of the Year award...also earned South Jersey All-Academic Team and All-Olympic Conference honors...playing halfback, fullback, and strong safety, he rushed 109 times for 786 yards and five touchdowns as a senior.
