AT MONACA HIGH SCHOOL: Ranked seventh in his class... president of the school's National Honor Society...earned third-team All-State honors from The Associated Press and second-team All-State honors from Pennsylvania Football News...received the prestigious West Penn Allegheny Health System Scholar-Athlete Award and was chosen as conference coaches association scholar-athlete three straight seasons...named a first-team All-Conference tight end and defensive end three straight seasons, the first student-athlete in Monaca history to accomplish such a feat...earned Fab 22 honors from the Pittsburgh Post- Gazette...a three-year letterwinner on the basketball team who earned a spot on the Beaver County Times All-Defensive team as a junior.
