Football Kicks Off Four-Game Road Swing

Game notes vs. Princeton

2006: Carried the ball in seven games as a backup tailback and played in all 12 games on special teams...most extensive action came at Fordham, with seven carries for 26 yards, and an 11-yard run on the final drive in the fourth quarter...gained 18 yards on five carries at Sacred Heart...returned three kicks for 42 yards at Princeton.

2005: Appeared in all 12 games as a backup tailback and an upman on kick returns...carried the ball 21 times (17 in the second half) for 64 yards against Columbia for his most productive afternoon of the season...returned three kicks for 67 yards and had two carries for eight yards at Appalachian State...had six carries for 45 yards and caught a pass for 18 yards at Marist...nine rushes for 44 yards against Fordham...gained 28 yards on six carries vs. Bucknell.

2004: Appeared in two games...carried three times for 19 yards against Marist.

AT WEST ESSEX HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter...first freshman to start at varsity level in school history...team captain as a senior...named First-Team All-New Jersey, All-Group II, All-Essex County and All-Iron Hills Conference...Essex County Player of the Year...school's all-time career leader in rushing yards (4,441), all-purpose yards (6,300) and touchdowns (64)...jersey retired by high school...also four-year letterman on the baseball team...National Honor Society member...Honor Roll and Superintendent's List all four years.
