2001: Will serve as a student assistant coach after being forced to miss the season due to a career-ending concussion suffered in the 2000 season.

2000: One of just 21 student-athletes nationally to be selected as an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar First Team honoree?a Verizon District II Academic All-American, he also earned a position on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for the third year?received the College?s prestigious James F. Bryant ?40 Excellence Award, which is presented to a Lafayette junior who meets standards of excellence, as did James F. Bryant, by demonstrating high academic achievement, lettering in at least one varsity sport, and showing noticeable and noteworthy evidence of community service?started five games before concussion cut his season short?earned his third varsity letter?finished third on the team in pass breakups with six?had a key interception in fourth quarter against Pennsylvania which led to the Leopards? final touchdown.

1999: A GTE/CoSIDA District II Academic All-American, he also earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...finished eighth in the Patriot League in pass breakups with nine...started seven games, including the final six at cornerback...earned his second varsity letter...led the squad with two blocked kicks, blocking a field goal and a PAT attempt at Princeton...had one of the best statistical games of his career at Princeton, recording 12 tackles, including nine solo stops and one tackle for loss, and two pass deflections in addition to the two blocked kicks.

1998: Patriot League Rookie of the Year...Lafayette team defensive rookie of the of seven Leopard freshmen to earn a varsity letter, starting six games...led all Lafayette freshmen in tackles, interceptions, pass break-ups, and forced fumbles...earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors for his efforts in Lafayette?s win at Towson, which included five tackles, an interception and 20-yard return, and a pass break-up.

AT WEST ALLEGHENY HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year member of the basketball and football teams...a first-team member of the All-Parkway Conference Team, he also received honorable mention honors for his performance at running back during his senior year.

PERSONAL: Psychology major...son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stanley Allen...born 3/16/80.
