- Lafayette looks to start fresh for Patriot League play after going 2-9 through the non-conference slate. The Leopards will open league play with a bang, welcoming crosstown rival Lehigh to Kirby Sports Center on Friday evening. Lehigh enters at 5-6 on the season and was projected to finish fourth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll.

- Senior co-captain Matt Klinewski moved his streak of double-figure scoring games to 14 with 21 points on 8-of-11 from the field in the loss at Cornell. Klinewski has led his team in scoring in 11 of those 14 contests and sits third in the Patriot League in scoring at 18.2 points per game.

- The Leopards will look to prove the voters wrong throughout the conference schedule, picked to finish last in the preseason poll. Lafayette went 5-13 in Patriot League action in 2016-17, falling to Loyola in the opening round of the Patriot League Tournament. Lehigh went 12-6 in conference action last season, advancing to the tournament’s championship game, but falling to Bucknell by an 81-65 score.
