Opening Tip:

Lafayette takes on Sacred Heart as the Leopards look win three straight home games.

The Leopards dropped to 3-8 overall with an 82-80 loss at Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday night. The Leopards erased a 14-point deficit and tied the game at 80 before FDU scored on a tip-in at the buzzer.

Seth Hinrichs scored a career-high 27 points and Dan Trist netted 17 in the loss. Joey Ptasinski (4 steals) and Alan Flannigan (2 blocks) also set new career bests.

Tony Johnson (11.7 ppg) has scored at least 10 points in eight of the Leopards’ 11 games.

Today's game is the 12th of the season for Lafayette, tying Southeast Missouri St. for the most games played in Division I, to this point.

With three steals at Monmouth, Johnson moved into a tie for 17th in the Lafayette record books. The senior currently has 120 career thefts, tied with Craig White ’92.

Trist (15.5 ppg) missed three games before returning to score 10 points against Princeton. Trist has led Lafayette in scoring five times this season and has netted at least 15 points in four straight games.

With the win over Saint Francis, Lafayette improved to 3-0 in games televised by the Lafayette Sports Network.

Levi Giese (19 blocks) has had at least two rejections in all but four games this season.

Head coach Fran O’Hanlon has used five different starting lineups this season.
