Opening Tip:

Lafayette takes on Fairleigh Dickinson as the Leopards look win consecutive games for the first time in 2012-13.

The Leopards improved to 3-7 overall after coming from behind to beat Saint Francis Pa., 61-58.The Leopards erased a 15-point second half deficit and claimed their first lead with 2:18 remaining.

Dan Trist (16) and Tony Johnson (12) each scored in double figures in the victory.

Johnson (12.1 ppg) has scored at least 10 points in eight of the Leopards’ 10 games.

Johnson currently leads the conference, shooting at a 58.4 percent clip from the field (45-of-77).

With a career-high five steals at Monmouth, Johnson moved into 18th in the Lafayette record books. The senior currently has 122 career thefts.

Trist (15.3 ppg) missed three games before returning to score 10 points against Princeton.Trist has led Lafayette in scoring five times this season and has netted at least 15 points in three straight games.

With the win over Saint Francis, Lafayette improved to 3-0 in games televised by the Lafayette Sports Network.

Levi Giese (18 blocks) has had at least two rejections in all but three games this season.

Head coach Fran O’Hanlon has used five different starting lineups through the team’s first 10 games this season. He has used a combination of Johnson, Ptasinski, Hinrichs, Giese and Trist five times.
