Lafayette emerges from a brief Thanksgiving respite and boards the bus for a short ride to Delaware for a Saturday afternoon matchup. The Leopards are 3-2, coming off an 85-74 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday. In that game, senior guard Jim Mower made a school-record 10 three-pointers to finish with a career-high 37 points.

Delaware (1-2) is looking to string together consecutive wins for the first time this season. The Blue Hens are coming off an eight-point win over Cornell in Newark. Delaware opened the season with a 58-54 loss at Radford on Nov. 11 and a 10-point loss at Villanova followed a week later.

Sophomore guard Devon Saddler (22.0 ppg) has scored 20 or more in the last two games and is coming off a 21-point, six-rebound, five-assist night vs. Cornell.

Freshmen Kyle Anderson and Khalid Lewis each got the starting nod vs. Cornell. Anderson (11.5 ppg) played 33 minutes and chipped in 11 points in his first career start. Lewis (4.0 ppg) has started every game and has a team-best 10 assists.

Up front, a pair of juniors holds down the starting forward spots. Jamelle Hagins is averaging 13.0 points and eight rebounds per game while Josh Brinkley chips in 4.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

The Blue Hens have not shot the three well, converting 28 percent, but are holding opponents to 30 percent. They have won the rebounding battle, out-muscling opponents by 3.6 rebounds per game.

Delaware is coached by Monté Ross (Winston-Salem '92) who is 54-105 in six seasons.
