Men's Basketball Returns to Action at NJIT

Lafayette takes on NJIT looking for its first win of the season. The Leopards will play Yale and Penn in their next two home games to close out November.
After opening the year with two losses, NJIT has won its last three contests, defeating Army, New Hampshire and Maine.
Four players scored in double figures in the loss to Princeton. Seth Hinrichs matched his career-high with 27 points, Dan Trist netted 19, Bryce Scott scored 12 points and Joey Ptasinski had 11 in his first start.
The trio of Seth Hinrichs, Joey Ptasinski and Bryce Scott has combined to go 23-of-48 from three-point land in the first three games.
Junior Dan Trist recorded his first career double-double with 18 points and a career-high 14 rebounds against Robert Morris. Trist nearly had his second double-double with a 19 point and nine rebound effort at Princeton.
Forward Matt Klinewski (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern) and guard Eric Stafford (Pitman, N.J./Pitman) have signed National Letters of Intent to play at Lafayette and will enroll at the College in the fall of 2014.
The last time Lafayette opened the season with three straight losses was 2002-03 when it began the year 0-5.
