Good Joins Men’s Hoops Class of 2022

Nov. 8, 2017

EASTON, Pa. – Head coach Fran O’Hanlon of the Lafayette men’s basketball team added Sean Good, a 6-11 forward from Camp Hill, Pa., to the Leopards’ class of 2022 during the early signing period on Wednesday afternoon. Good will join the Maroon and White on College Hill next fall.

Good is a three-time district champion at Trinity High School, where he begins his fourth year as a starter on the basketball team while also participating in two years of track and field. At a wiry 200 pounds, he averaged 8.6 points per game each of the past two seasons.

While his offensive game continues to improve, his biggest impact for the Leopards could be in rebounding and protecting the rim. Good ripped down a career-high 274 rebounds as a junior and has posted at least 230 boards in all three of his varsity seasons. Additionally, he’s blocked at least 110 shots each year, including 118 a year ago.

“Sean is a versatile player who can play both on the block and on the outside,” O’Hanlon said. “He has a very good basketball IQ that will fit well with our style of play.”

In addition to his playing career at Trinity, Good also played on the AAU circuit for Team Final in Philadelphia, Pa. Off the court, he is a member of the Chinese, Chess and Environmental clubs, and intends to study organic chemistry at Lafayette.

The 2017-18 edition of Lafayette men’s basketball kicks off its regular-season campaign on Friday, traveling to Fairfax, Va. for a meeting with George Mason at 7 p.m.
