Hinrichs, Ptasinski Named to NABC Honors Court

Kansas City, Mo. - Lafayette men's basketball rising seniors Seth Hinrichs and Joey Ptasinski were named to the 2013-14 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, the NABC announced today.
Hinrichs was a Third Team All-Patriot League selection this season after leading Lafayette in scoring (16.7 ppg) and rebounding (5.9 rpg). The Minnesota native was also selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team. Hinrichs, an Economics major, carries a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
Ptasinski was also an Academic All-Patriot League selection after the 2013-14 season. The Colorado native finished the season with a career-best 11.6 points per game. Ptasinski holds a 3.44 cumulative GPA in Biology.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications are as follows:
1. Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2013-14 academic year.
3. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
4. Member of an NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
