KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior point guard Tony Johnson picked up another postseason accolade when he was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 13 Second Team. Johnson’s honor comes after a standout senior campaign in which he was a unanimous First Team All-Patriot League choice.

The Folsom, Calif. native led Lafayette on a late-season run of seven consecutive victories to put the Leopards in the Patriot League title game and was named to the All-Tournament Team for his efforts. On the season, Johnson led the Patriot League in field goal percentage (54.6%), steals (64) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1 per game).  He also finished third in the League with a team-high 4.9 assists per game.

Johnson completed his collegiate career sixth in the Lafayette annuls with 374 career assists and ranked fourth in school history with 160 steals. The Economics major will graduate in May after leading Lafayette to three championship game appearances in four seasons.

The NABC District 13 includes 23 institutions representing the Patriot League, the Ivy League and the Great West Conference.
