Opening Tip

Lafayette takes on the Patriot League's Regular Season Champion, Boston University, in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League Tournament on Wednesday night at Agganis Arena. The game will air live online on the Patriot League Network.

Seth Hinrichs (Third Team) and Nick Lindner (All-Rookie) were honored with places on the All-Patriot League teams. Lindner was also recognized as the conference's Rookie of the Week after averaging 20 points and five assists in Lafayette's last two regular season games. Hinrichs scored 22 points, while Lindner added 14 and five assists in Lafayette's First Round win at Loyola Maryland on Monday night.

The Leopards set a new Patriot League Tournament record with their 63.6 percent shooting performance in the win over Loyola on Monday. Lafayette went 28-of-44 from the field, including a 13-for-19 effort in the second half. It's 68.4 percent in the second half was also a program best in the Patriot League Tournament.

Lafayette had two players named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, it was announced Tuesday. Juniors Joey Ptasinski and Seth Hinrichs were selected to the five-man squad for their combined efforts in the classroom and on the court. Ptasinski carries a 3.49 GPA in Biology, while Hinrichs maintains a 3.35 GPA in Economics.

Lafayette is sixth in the country in three-point shooting percentage at 40.1 percent. Creighton is the national leader at 42.1 percent.

Nick Lindner now has 121 assists on the season, moving him up to 17th on Lafayette's single-season assists list. His 121 are the most ever for a Lafayette freshman.

Lafayette is 7-3 on the season when Nick Lindner, Seth Hinrichs and Joey Ptasinski are all in the starting lineup.

Joey Ptasinski and Seth Hinrichs are climbing the all-time list for three-point field goals. Ptasinski is alone in fifth all-time with 176 career threes, while Hinrichs is 10th at 154 treys. Bryce Scott recently cracked the top 25 with 86 career threes.
