- Lafayette lives to fight another day in the Patriot League Tournament, battling Colgate on Thursday night in Hamilton, N.Y. Despite what seems like a lopsided #2 vs. #7 matchup, the lower-seeded Leopards won both of this season’s meetings between the two programs and will look for the trifecta to advance to their first semifinal since 2015.
- The Leopards are coming off their highest scoring output ever in the postseason with 93 points in the win on Tuesday over American. Four different Leopards scored in double-figures, led by 23 from senior co-captain Matt Klinewski.
- Freshman Justin Jaworski has been stellar in his last eight games, averaging 13.6 points per outing while shooting 55.4 percent from the field and 55.5 percent from three-point range. Jaworski hit the game-winner in this season’s first Lafayette-Colgate meeting, a triple with three seconds left in the 71-68 win.
- The winner of Thursday’s game will face the winner of Navy-Holy Cross in the PLT Semifinal on Sunday.
