Men's Hoops Looks to Continue Winning Streak

Lafayette looks to extend its winning streak to five games and win seven out of eight when it battles Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y. on Wednesday night. The Raiders took the first meeting between the two sides, a 75-68 final in Easton, Pa.
Joey Ptasinski (Player) and Nick Lindner (Rookie) were honored as the Patriot League's weekly award winners after leading the Leopards to a pair of victories over Holy Cross and Lehigh last week.
Since returning to the starting lineup on February 1, Seth Hinrichs is leading Lafayette in scoring (14.1 ppg) and rebounding (7.1 rpg) and the Leopards are 6-1. Hinrichs pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds in the win over Lehigh.
Lafayette is third in the country in three-point shooting percentage at 41.0 percent. Creighton is the national leader at 42.8 percent.
Lafayette is 6-1 on the season when Nick Lindner, Seth Hinrichs and Joey Ptasinski are all in the starting lineup.
Lafayette improved to 3-0 on the season when winning the rebounding and turnover battle following its victory over Lehigh. The Leopards were plus-five in rebounding and plus-seven in turnovers against the Mountain Hawks. Colgate outrebounded Lafayette 40-30 in the first meeting between the two teams.
Lafayette is currently seventh in the Patriot League standings at 6-10. The Leopards are ahead of Loyola (5-11), Colgate (4-12) and Navy (4-12), and one game behind Lehigh (7-9).
Joey Ptasinski and Seth Hinrichs are climbing the all-time list for three-point field goals. Ptasinski is alone in fifth all-time with 169 career threes, while Hinrichs is 11th at 150 treys. Bryce Scott recently cracked the top 25 with 83 career threes.
