Opening Tip

The Leopards improved to 12-13 overall and 5-3 in Patriot League play with a 70-47 win at Navy.

Joey Ptasinski (15 points) led four Lafayette players in double figures and Seth Hinrichs notched his second-career double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds).

Hinrichs (14.6 ppg) leads the team in scoring and has six 20-point games this season. Hinrichs has scored in double figures in 14 of Lafayette's last 15 games and 21 times overall.

Army defeated Lafayette 77-54 on Jan. 16 after building a 20-point lead in the opening minutes in West Point, N.Y.

Lafayette is currently 9-2 at Kirby Sports Center this season after its win against Colgate.

With the win over Navy, Lafayette moved to 11-2 on the season when leading at halftime.

Tony Johnson is currently seventh in the Lafayette record books with 144 career steals. He needs four steals to tie Bruce Stankavage '91.

Levi Giese (99 career blocked shots) needs one block to become the fourth player in program history to reach the century mark.

Johnson currently leads the conference in shooting (52.8 percent), assist-to turnover ratio (2.0) and steals (2.0 spg).

Under Fran O'Hanlon, the Leopards are 117-117 in conference regular-season play and 27-9 against Army.
