- Lafayette hits the road looking to bounce back from another tough home defeat to Boston U. on Wednesday evening. The Leopards and Crusaders both sit at 3-6 in Patriot League play as the Maroon and White look for the season sweep, having won this year's earlier meeting in Easton on Jan. 2, 60-48.
- Saturday’s game marks the second of two Lafayette contests included in Coaches vs. Cancer week. Lafayette’s coaching staff will ditch the dress shoes for sneakers in both games in support of the Suits and Sneakers initiative, a nationwide event that unites coaches across the country to raise funds and awareness about the fight against cancer. The sneakers also show support for the promotion of the American Cancer Society as a source of inspiration and hope for those fighting cancer.
- Junior Paulius Zalys has found offensive success from the low block since the start of Patriot League play, dropping in a career-high 25 points in the loss to Navy on 11-of-14 shooting from the field. Zalys is averaging 12.1 points per night since entering conference action, and that number increases to 13.3 per outing over his last seven games.
