EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette senior point guard Tim Bieg, a co-captain on this season's men's basketball team, was featured in today's edition of the Camden (N.J.) Courier-Post by columnist Kevin Callahan. Bieg looks back on his career at Lafayette and Camden Catholic High School, and discusses how he is dealing with the unfamiliar losing streak the Leopards are currently experiencing.

On the first play of the second half Saturday, Tim Bieg dug for a steal at halfcourt, came up with the ball and got an assist at the other end.

A few seconds later on defense again, the Lafayette College guard dove trying for another steal.

It is hard to imagine Bieg playing any harder than he did for four years at Camden Catholic High School or during his first three seasons at Lafayette, but he is. Bieg knows he has to find or force a way to win because for the first time in his career he is losing. And, he doesn't like it.

He is reacting the only way he knows how and that is to try harder. To dig deeper like he did on the first two plays of the second half of an 82-74 loss to Pennsylvania in a nonconference game.
